Tuesday Night Book Clubs

We have started our Book Clubs for 2018!

Book Clubs will meet on Tuesday Nights from 6p.m. until 8p.m.  Please feel free to bring snacks or drinks of your choice.  These clubs are very informal, so feel free to drop in and join us any time!  The selected books are prominently displayed in store, and each book will receive a special 20% discount.

The Lebanon Literary Society is our Book Club focusing on Classic Literature.  It meets on the first Tuesday of each month.  Our selection for February is Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird”.   Our next meeting is February 6, 2018.

Harper’s Detective Agency is our Mystery/Thriller Book Club.  It meets on the second Tuesday of each month.  Our selection for February is Tami Hoag’s Cold Cold Heart.    We will meet next on February 13, 2018.

Our History Book Club meets the third Tuesday of each month.  For February, we have chosen two books.  If you are interested, please read either one or both.  We will be comparing and contrasting  David Grann’s Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI  and Erik Larson’s Devil in the White City.   Our next meeting will be February 20, 2018.

Tangents & Dragons  is our Fantasy/ Science Fiction book club.  It meets at random dates about once per month.  The next meeting is February 8, 2018.  We will be discussing Brian Jacques’ Redwall   and beginning our discussion of Stephanie Garber’s Caraval.

  1. I’m interested in both the Fiction/Southern Fiction and the Non-Fiction, History, Political Science, Philosophy book clubs. Please let me know when and where they are meeting and if you need any help hosting one of them. Thanks!

    • That’s great! I will be posting soon on our Facebook page with details about our upcoming clubs.

  2. Interested in any of the above clubs. What about a club for teens – possibly home-school group?
